EpatoPID

A 16-year-old female who had presented to the Emergency Room with acute abdominal pain, a few days later returned with worsening right upper quadrant pain and fever. The clinical and radiological workup ultimately led to the diagnosis of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) with associated perihepatic (Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome) and renal involvement, initially misinterpreted as a possible hepatic cystic lesion.
