Abstract
Description of a case of diffused itching brash. A patch test, which
was carried out because of its affinity with contact dermatitis,
showed a sensitivity to mercury organic and inorganic compounds.
The child had inadvertently broken a thermometer. Such
a sensitisation could be due to antiseptic organic preparations
(dressings) and preservatives (milk-based ones).
