Abstract
A survey was carried out among 417 families to explore
what would be their attitudes towards immunisations, if the current
policy of compulsory immunisations had to be modified. Current coverage
would significantly decrease from 99 to 78% for polio and
from 98 to 88% for diphteria-tetanus while it would be only slightly
modified for measles (from 94 to 89%) and for pertussis (from 96 to
92%). 88% of parents prefer immunisations to remain compulsory.
