Abstract
The paper presents the case of a 12-year-old boy affected by circumscribed morphea that started with multiple skin lesions on both feet and hands. Despite different therapeutic approaches the disease evolved to an extremely disabling form of pansclerotic morphea that led to the death of the patient at the age of 21. Pansclerotic morphea, though being rare, is a severe, refractory and life-threatening disease whose infectious complications may be fatal.
