Abstract
To be allowed to ask the question in the title, and possibly to propose an alternative option, one should be sufficiently sure that weaning, as it has been popular for the last decades, is neither happy nor free, given that freedom is enough to be happy. The literature that helps and has always helped to understand better is sufficient to show a different way from the one that today has been already trodden but, I dare say, is inexplicably either little known or little put into practice.
