Abstract
The article analyzes the phenomenon of self-harm in early adolescence and adolescence starting from a piece of news and taking into account the current scientific literature and the studies in the psychological field to obtain useful instructions for its correct framing and effective management.

L'articolo analizza il fenomeno dell'autolesionismo nella pre-adolescenza e nell'adolescenza. Partendo da una notizia di cronaca e tenendo conto della letteratura scientifica attuale e degli studi in campo psicologico si cerca di ottenere indicazioni utili per un corretto inquadramento ed efficace gestione del fenomeno.
