Abstract
Subgaleal haematoma is a condition that most frequently affects newborns but can be found also in older children especially in presence of predisposing factors (anti-platelets therapy or coagulopathy) after head injury. It appears as a soft swelling of the cranial vault and it can cause severe anaemia. This paper describes a case of subgaleal haematoma without skull fracture after a minor head injury in a six-year-old child suffering from hydrocephalus and in aspirin therapy for nephrovascular hypertension.
