Abstract
The paper reports two paediatric headache cases with initially negative clinical findings but vastly different outcomes. The first regarded a girl subjected to excessive medical evaluations, reflecting parental anxiety and overmedicalization. The second case regarded a boy with worsening headaches who was diagnosed with undifferentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma. These cases highlight the importance of careful clinical assessment to differentiate between functional disorders and serious conditions.
