Abstract
The paper reports a case of ovarian cyst discovered in pregnancy, complicated with torsion and subsequent auto-amputation and migration in contact with the sigma. It underlines the fundamental role of imaging, especially during pregnancy, and of ultrasound with colour Doppler echography for its identification and follow-up.
