Abstract
Since 2004 in the Specialty School of Paediatrics in Palermo a training project for residents
has been started up at the ambulatories of the family paediatricians chosen by the school.
The selection of the family paediatricians was made according to criteria shared with
and agreed upon between the board of the school and those family paediatricians who
freely chose to participate in the project. After five years from the beginning of such collaboration,
it seems useful to report the positive experiences but at the same time also the
difficult ones that, if further developed, will contribute to improve the whole project.
